School clubs begin
Posted on by SteveOur fabulous after school clubs begin this week at many primary schools across Derbyshire, Cheshire and Tameside.
A New Year brings NEW ideas, and we have lots of new ideas for our after school clubs.
Firstly all our Soccer activities will be based on the Brazilian World Cup and Multi-Sport games on the Commonwealth Games, which will be coming to Glasgow very soon. There will be a focus on different countries, different players and various themed weeks to learn about different geographic and historic facts. We also have various extra prizes to give away based on these themes, such as Brazilian flags, posters, stickers and England blow up hammers!
We also have a new sport to introduce to our Multi-Sports programme… American Football is coming to town! This is a great game to work on teamwork and is also great for those fast and agile individuals. I’m sure it will also be great fun tackling the coaches and scoring ‘touch downs’!
There may also be more prizes to win such as medals, trophies and as many clubs finish just before Easter, there may be some Easter gifts as well.
We are also running our first ever after school club raffle! Should you sign up to participate in any of our after school clubs, your name will go into the raffle to win 2 Champions League tickets to watch Manchester United take on Olympiakos at Old Trafford on Wednesday 19th March. The winner will be announced in February… Good luck.
