PAS News for May & June…

We have had a busy May and June is going to be even busier here at PAS!

Our after school club programme is up and running with a bang, with participating numbers bigger than ever before. We usually find that the summer months are the busiest, with hopefully better weather to play sport in, plus the fact that the younger children are settled into school and may now want to take part in some PAS activities. However, the fact that we have some awesome prizes up for grabs and the summer t-shirt designing competition is probably a big contributing factor!

Looking ahead we have our Whit half-term Camps starting next week, and running over 4 days from Tuesday 26th June onwards. We have a number of camps running, ranging from our β€˜Soccer & Multi-Sport’ Holiday Camps to our popular β€˜non-residential’ Adventure Camps. See below for more information…

Summer t-shirt designing competition

As some of you may know, many of our after school clubs are being entered into the β€˜summer t-shirt designing competition’. Forms have been going out all week and children will have a couple of weeks to design their PAS summer t-shirt. From all the returned entries, we will select a top 10, and then from there a top 3. The final winner will be announced just before the t-shirts go out to the children. Overall, there will be more that 1000 t-shirts printed up with the winning design. Who knows, it could be your child who designs the front of these t-shirts! Good luck to all entering!

Whit half-term β€˜Soccer & Multi-Sport’ Holiday Camps

As I have mentioned above, we are running several camps over the 4 days from Tuesday 26th May until Friday 29th May. As usual, we want your child/children to be a part of it, so turn up, book online or contact the office for more details. Further details and links can be seen below…

  • Locations include – Β Glossop, Buxton, Chapel and Disley

Adventure Camps – Non-residential

We only have a select number of places left on our non-residential Adventure Camp. Here is how the programme looks, and the places available to date…

  • Tuesday 26th May – Trail Mountain Biking Day, plus Bikeability training – 4
  • Wednesday 27th May – Ice Breaker Games and Flat Water Canoeing Day – 0
  • Thursday 28th May – Adventure Day, inc. Bushcraft activities, Shelter Building, Survival Skills and Team Games – 5
  • Friday 29th May – Obstacle Course, Problem Solving Activities and Zip Wire FUN – 2

As you can see from the daily activities above, it should be a cracking 4 days! Click on the links below for more information or if you are looking to book a place –

Summer Camps 2015

Our PAS Summer Camps are going to be the biggest yet, but we are in the final stages of completing the schedule. As soon as we get confirmation from a few new venues, and from a couple of new programmes, all will be put on our website, plus our Facebook/Twitter pages. There will also be flyers/booking forms heading into schools… Watch this space!

Finally, thank you for taking the time to read our news page, we hope you found it useful.
