PAS News for March & Aprilโ€ฆ

January and February have flown by and we cannot believe we are in March already! It would seem that time flies when you are busy and we all can vouch for that here at PAS.

So far this year…

Our school based activities, i.e. after school clubs, have been busy once more, not to mention that our weekend clubs have seen an increased number of participants. Our birthday parties have also been really popular, with PAS running one on average every weekend so far this year. We have also had great participation in our specific clubs such as โ€˜Little Sports Starsโ€™ and our latest development โ€˜JungleFitโ€™, in which both programmes were fully subscribed. In addition to this we also had another fantastic February half-term, in particular our Glossop and Buxton Camps proved to be a great success and attracted a combined number of 65 children each day!

Around the corner…

We have several things to remind/inform parents/guardians about… First has to be the after school club t-shirt competition. So far we have had over 280 entries, all of which look fantastic and will no doubt make it very difficult to select a winner. There is still time to hand in your entry, so please remind your child to get their design to theirย  coach as soon as possible. For those schools which are participating in this competition, each child has the chance to design the next t-shirt which every child will receive at the final after school club session. Last year George C, then aged 6, from Adlington Primary School, was the winner and had his design printed on over 1000 t-shirts.

We also have our Easter โ€˜Soccer & Multi-Sportโ€™ Holiday Camps on the horizon… This year we have our activities spread over 3 weeks due to Derbyshire, Cheshire and Tameside all having slightly different holidays. As normal, we have a brilliant programme planned including some new themed days, and the return of โ€˜Soak The Coachโ€™. We have also changed a couple of things which will definitely benefit parents/guardians… We are now offering a 10% discount for all online bookings! This will mean if you pre-book on any of our Holiday or Adventure Camps and use PROMO10 on our Online Booking System you will get 10% off the price. Our โ€˜on the dayโ€™ prices remain the same, so please pre-book to qualify for this discount. In addition, we have also increased our sibling discount to 20%. Simply contact the office to obtain the sibling discount code.

Our Non-residential Adventure Camp also looks to be another cracker! We have 4 days of activities starting on Tuesday 29th March which include, Bushcraft, Mountain Biking, Ten Pin Bowling, Laser Quest and a Goyt Valley Walking Expedition! It should be a great week, but as usual places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. Donโ€™t forget, at Easter we are also running our Easter Residential Adventure Camp! This is a superb opportunity for any child to experience the adventure of a PAS residential, which is full of excitement and wonderful activities. The camp will again run from Shining Cliff near Matlock and will depart from our office in Hadfield, Glossop on Tuesday 5th April.
