PAS News for January & February
Posted on by StevePAS News for January & February…
Wow, itโs February already! If youโve had a busy January, like PAS, you might be thinking how did we get here so quickly.
January has been a great month for PAS and we believe it is always important to get the year off to a good start. Our best item of news to announce is that we have been awarded a 3 year contract to deliver more sporting activities in schools. Derbyshire County Council have selected us to deliver the โFive 60โ programme in around 39 schools over this 3 year period. Director, Mark Jennings, added, โItโs a great boost for us, as it will mean extra coaching opportunities for our younger staff, and of course puts the company in a great position for moving forwardโ. After School Clubs Start with a BANG
Our school clubs are all up and running, with an increase in the number of participants, which is great! This is really going to be an exciting term, with new games, themes and prizes up for grabs, not to mention our MEGA raffle to win those Manchester United and Manchester City tickets! Evening Clubs and Weekend Clubs
Just a quick reminder that all our Evening and Weekend Clubs are still running, and will continue to do so providing we do not have any more snow! Unfortunately, we had to cancel the last two sessions at our Whaley Bride Evening Club due to snow on the pitch. Hopefully, we will be up there this Wednesday evening and resuming our sporting options.
February โSoccer & Multi-Sportโ Holiday Camps
As you may well know, our February half-term Holiday Camps will be here soon! As usual, we have another action packed programme ahead of us and we want your child/children to be a part of it. All the action is spread over two weeks and kicks off next week on Monday 9th February at our Glossop, Buxton and Chapel Holiday Camps. The following week, commencing Monday 16th February, we have moved to a different venue for our Disley Holiday Camp. Usually we are based at the primary school, but due to building work, we are moving venue to Disley Amalgamation Sports Club. This new venue is only a few minutes from Disley Primary School and offers great facilities for our sporting activities. Click the links below for more information or to book a place โ
