PAS News for January & Februaryโฆ
What a start to the New Year it has been! For those who did not know, we celebrated 10 years in business on Wednesday 13th January, and we cannot believe how quickly that has come around. It has been a fantastic journey and we have helped in the development of so many children along the way. We have great plans for this year and cannot wait to roll them out. To read more about PAS being 10 years old, please click on the link โ 10 Years and counting.
Both Mark and I would like to introduce the latest staff members who have joined our team. Coach Jane, from Hayfield, has joined PAS to develop our Dance and Gymnastics programmes. Jane comes with lots of experience in both fields and will be delivering after school clubs, PE lessons and specific dance and gymnastics Holiday Camp sessions. We have also taken on coach Scott, who started with PAS at the beginning of the New Year. Scott has a great background in sports coaching and will add many extra dimensions to the company. As always, we hope that our new employees bring new ideas and a freshness to Peak Active Sport.
Moving on, this is our last week of term before we run our February half-term activities. We have our โSoccer & Multi-Sportโ Holiday Camps in Glossop, Buxton, Chapel and Disley with some new developments to announce. Each day we will now have a specific theme and a variety of different activities – hereโs the plan for the week ahead โ
- Monday is our โMEGA Multi-Sports Dayโ โ we will have 6 sports to play on the opening day of camp
- Tuesday is โPAS Man Dayโ โ Our mascot PAS Man will visit each camp to pass on his sporting tips and take part in the action
- Wednesday is our โSpeed Cage Dayโ โ Try your best shot to be the fastest shot in your age group
- Thursday is our โWorld Sportsman Dayโ โ Dress to impress in your favourite sports kit or as your favourite sports personality
- Friday is our โDisco Dance-Off, Dodgeball Knock-Out and Prize Dayโ โ Donโt miss out on this fantastic day
As you can see, each day is going to be filled with fun and excitement. All of our Holiday Camps run from 9.30am until 3.30pm, with an early drop off option of 8.45am. We also offer a half day option from either 9.30am until 12.30pm or 12.30pm until 3.30pm. At all our Holiday Camps children will be split into age appropriate groups and can choose from Soccer or a selection of Multi-Sports daily; they can also swap and change activities whenever they wish.
You can book on to any camp using our flyer/booking form or you can book online. Our Online Booking System has become very popular with over 95% of bookings coming through online. Click here for more information on our Holiday Camps or here for our Online Booking System.
In addition to our Holiday Camps, we also have our Adventure Camps with a brilliant programme planned for the week. As usual, we only have a limited number of spaces available, so please book quickly to avoid disappointment. For more information, visit our Adventure Camps webpage or book online via our Online Booking System.
To ensure your booking is easy, we hope that by making our website responsive, it is working well for you. We are also in the process of creating a mobile app, which again will make the process even easier and quicker to book for Holiday and Adventure Camps.
Finally, PAS and High Peak Radio have teamed up again to bring you our new radio advert, as well as the opportunity to claim a 15% discount off our Holiday or Adventure Camps prices. Listen out for our advert on High Peak Radio and input the promotional code once you have it. To find out more about this, please click on the link โ PAS and High Peak Radio.
