We start by looking back at what was a cracking ‘wet & wild’ October half-term! Click here to read more… Although our Glossop, Chapel, Disley and Adventure Camps all went very well, we unfortunately had to cancel our Buxton Camp due to low numbers. Having said that, during the half-term week we had many calls and emails from parents wanting to book on at our Buxton Camp. On a couple of days we also had parents and children turn up to play! Had parents booked in advance, we could have run our Buxton Camp, and no doubt it would have been a super week. We do welcome parents and children registering on the day, but advise everyone to try to book in advance. By doing so, we can plan our sessions and can arrange for the correct child to coach ratios. Something to consider for future activities with PAS…
Our After School Clubs come to an end very soon, with many finishing at the end of the month. Children will be receiving their Christmas gifts (not to be opened until 25th December, of course), and extra special children will have the chance to win our Nike footballs and PAS trophies. “It is a great time of the year to finish our clubs and the gifts and extra prizes children receive is a way for us to say thank you.” – Mark Jennings, Director at PAS.
We are running an ‘England Special’ event this weekend at our Weekend Clubs and again on our Monday night Elite Club. Due to the England football team playing tonight against Chile, and again on Tuesday against Germany, both our weekend clubs will be running various competitions to coincide with the games. There will be extra England prizes for tournament winners and for our ‘Best Dressed’ competition winners! Turn up at St. Margaret’s Primary School in Glossop to take part in the fun!
Upcoming events… We have our ‘New Year Holiday & Adventure Camps’ coming soon! Our Glossop ‘Soccer & Multi-Sport’ Camp will be running on Monday 30th and 31st December, plus Thursday 2nd and 3rd January. We also have a 2 day Adventure Camp running on Monday 30th and 31st December, and our Disley ‘Soccer & Multi-Sport’ Camp running on Thursday 2nd and 3rd January! Look out for more information online and flyers coming into schools soon.
