PAS News for April…
Posted on by StevePAS News for April…
Hot off the press!!! We are pleased to announce we are starting PAS βLittle Starsβ, which is a new programme aimed at 3-4 year olds. As we already work with younger children in a number of nursery settings, many parents/guardians have been asking if we deliver any sessions at the weekend. Well, starting on Saturday 26th April, from 9.00am until 9.45am, at St. Margaretβs Primary School in Glossop, we will hopefully have 12 young participants (and a parent) taking part in this new experience! Bookings will be made through the office, and for 5 block sessions, the cost will be Β£20.00. Also, for the first 12 children to sign up, they will receive a free PAS t-shirt! Click here for more information or contact PAS to book.
Over the last two weeks many after school clubs have been coming to an end. It’s been a cracking term with new sports being introduced and the focus being on the World Cup and Commonwealth Games. We would like to thank everyone who has participated at our after school clubs this term, and look forward to seeing you again at our clubs after the Easter break.
Easter Camps start on Monday… We have lots going on over this period, including 5 ‘Soccer & Multi-Sport’ Holiday Camps and our 3 day residential Adventure Camp. Here’s the programme in more detail –
- Monday 7th April until Friday 11th April @ Disley
- Monday 14th April until Thursday 17th April @ Glossop & Chapel
- Adventure Camp – Tuesday 15th April until Thursday 17th April
- Tuesday 22nd April until Friday 25th April @ Glossop & Buxton
As normal, our Disley Camp is running from Disley Primary School, our Glossop Camp running from St. Margaret’s Primary School and our Chapel Camp at Chapel-en-le-Frith Primary School. Our Buxton Camp however is running from Fairfield Youth Centre. Here we will have the sports hall and grass pitches.
All Holiday Camps run from 9.30am until 3.30pm, are open to both boys and girls aged 4 and up, include indoor and outdoor facilities and start from just Β£8.00 for a half day or Β£15 for a full day, plus we do an early drop off too from 8.45am. Plus if you book ANY 4 day’s you receive a FREE football.

We currently have 2 spaces left on our 3 day Easter residential Adventure Camp, one space for a girl and one space for a boy (room allocation). The camp will be a super experience and one to remember for many years to come. Mark, Ash, Sarah and myself have put together a super programme of activities, with each day different and more exciting from the last. We also wanted to wish Hollowford Centre and Adventure Camp instructor Chris Groves the very best of luck as he aims to summit Mount Everest! Chris regularly teams up with PAS on our adventure days and helps deliver some of our most adventurous activities, such as climbing and caving. However, he is taking on the biggest challenge of his life and we would all like to wish him the very best of luck. β Click here to read more about this amazing challenge.
Just a reminder, our Monday Night Elite Club is now open to children up to the age of 16. We previously had an age limit of 8 at this club, but as many children wanted to keep coming after they turned 8, we opened the club up and eventually will have several specific age groups. β Click here to find out more about this Club.
Finally, just a quick mention to coach Luke who recently won the βEmployee of the monthβ competition for March! Well done Luke from all at PAS! β Click here to read more about this story.
As always, thank you for taking the time to read our news page, we hope you found it useful.
