Holiday Camps are coming…

If you are new to PAS, or even one of our regular participants, we really want to tell you our plans this Summer…
PAS are running 12 specific ‘Soccer & Multi-Sport’ Holiday Camps in various locations, which include Glossop, Buxton, Chapel and now Buxworth. Each camp will be different, with a variety of sports, activities, wacky games and competitions on offer. Some useful information about our camps is listed below –
NEW Camp Start Times
Did you know our Holiday Camps now start at 9.00am and early drop off is now from 8.30am. We’ve put these changes in place to help working parents and guardians, plus we haven’t altered our prices… Always a bonus!
NEW – Themed Days
Each day at camp we will have a different theme to keep things exciting for the kids… Themed days will include our ‘MEGA Multi-Sports Day’, meaning there will be a chance to play up to 6 different sports through the day. We will also have a ‘PAS Man Day’, where our ‘new and improved’ mascot will be visiting all camps for a picture with the kids, this will then go on our Facebook/Twitter pages later that day. Weather dependant we will also have a ‘Speed Cage Challenge Day’, where all the children will have a go to see who has the fastest shot in their age group. We will again run our ‘World Sportsperson Day’, where the children get the chance to dress up as their favourite sportsperson. Finally, Friday will be a cracker… It’s our ‘DISCO DANCE OFF’ followed by ‘Soak The Coach’ and ‘DODGEBALL Challenge’ – Overall, it should be wonderful!
Tuck Shop & GIFT SHOP
Every day we will have a small tuck shop available for children to purchase snacks/drinks. Most snacks and drinks cost between 10 pence and £1.00, and are sold responsibly and in moderation. On selected days, there will also be PAS merchandise to buy… Items will include PAS t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, pens, bags etc.
Wacky Competitions
During our camps we have different wacky competitions to enter. These can be anything from ‘wacky hair day’ to ‘wacky talent’. Competitions are announced the day before at camp, and remember taking part in these will mean extra prizes are up for grabs!
IT’S SUMMER, SO IT’S BACK – SOAK THE COACH!!!
This is really your chance to get your own back! During our daily activities the coaches will take part in the ‘Coaches Challenge’. The challenges will be selected by the children and whoever has the fewest points by the end of the week will get soaked! Get those sponges extra wet kids and aim right for the face… Enjoy!!!
Presentation Day… PRIZE DAY!!!
Also known as the end of the week, but we don’t say the end of the week – we say PRIZE DAY! Various prizes up for grabs, such as footballs, medals, PAS t-shirts, water bottles and bags! Good luck trying to win one of our prizes! Plus, don’t forget if you’ve done 4 days or more, you’ll get yourself a FREE PAS prize!!!
