Feb Camps 2021
Posted on by SteveWe are on!!!
After patiently waiting for confirmation, we have finally been advised by Trading Standards that we can run a children’s Holiday Camp for vulnerable children and children who have Key Worker parents/guardians.
Due to the situation regarding bubbles and mixing, we can only facilitate children from St. Luke’s Primary School. The 3 bubbles from this school will remain in their bubbles and will not mix with each other or mix with any of our sporting equipment. Each bubble will have a specific coach from our PAS team and that coach will remain with them for the week. All our coaches have been working in schools since the start of the pandemic and abide to all government guidance, ensuring social distancing is paramount for the safety of themselves and the children we teach.
All equipment will be deep cleaned on a daily basis and all 3 coaches will test themselves twice that week using the lateral flow test kits.
Safety is of course our number one priority, however being able to offer children and parents/guardians who are key workers the opportunity for childcare provision, is of course massively important to us also. We hope this provision supports and enables parents/guardians to continue in their key worker roles.
We are sorry that we cannot accept vulnerable children and children who have key worker parents/guardians from other schools. We understand that many parents/guardians use PAS from a variety of different schools within our community, but due to the situation we are in, we hope you can understand why the provision is only open to those from the one school. Let’s hope that our Easter Camps will be different and again open to all!
