Camps start next week!
Posted on by SteveOur Whit half-term Camps start next week!
As usual we have an action packed half-term, all packed in to 4 days due to the Bank Holiday Monday. Therefore, all the action runs from Tuesday 26th May until Friday 29th May. Again our Holiday Camp locations include, Glossop, Buxton, Chapel and Disley, plus we will be all over the High Peak running our Adventure Camp.
Hopefully we will have some nice weather to play our sport in, but if not all our venues have good indoor facilities. Our Holiday Camps are fantastic for those sporty individuals who generally like playing different sports. On a typical day there will be 4 sports to choose from, this could be Soccer, Handball, Cricket and Dodgeball. The multi-sports change daily, meaning there will be 12 multi-sports to play over the 4 days. As football is so popular, this is always offered and skills/drills varied throughout the week. Remember children can swap and change activities whenever they like, sampling different sports and improving their general ability.
Come rain or shine it doesn’t matter too much for our Adventure Campers! In fact, from previous experiences, some children prefer a bit of rain and dirt! Our 4 day programme looks pretty exciting, starting with Mountain Biking, followed by Flat Water Canoeing and our final two days involve our Bushcraft day, which includes shelter building, fire camp preparation and woodland team games, finishing with the challenging Obstacle Course and some Zip Wire fun! Only our Flat Water Canoeing day is booked up, meaning there is still spaces available on the other days.
