A Wicked October Adventure Camp
Posted on by SteveWhat a wicked week we’ve just had!!!
Yet again, our PAS Adventure Camp has been another great success!
The full week was another action packed week of adventure. We had bushcraft activities, survival games, shelter building, team challenges, problem solving, navigation skills, orienteering tasks, mountain biking, caving, rock scrambling and finally weaseling!!! What more can you ask for!!!
In addition to all these activities, general teamwork, leadership and communication skills were in full flow. In fact, PAS Director Mark Jennings said, “It was great to see the children improve these skills as the week went on”.
We were also very lucky with the weather, having only got wet for 20 minutes towards the end of our biking day on Wednesday.
Our next Adventure Camps are now in 2015… Firstly, we will have a full week of Non-residential activities over the February half-term and then our 3 day Residential over the Easter holiday. Click here to see our plans for February or here for our 3 day Residential Easter Camp.
As always, we would like to thank all the children who made the week super, plus all parents and guardians too.
Finally, pictured below is a team shot from our mountain biking day. For more pictures from the week, click here.
