A summer to remember…

Posted on by Steve

The summer of 2012 will certainly be one to remember. We have celebrated the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, have enjoyed the ups and downs of Euro 2012 and are looking forward to the London 2012 Olympic Games! With all this sport in mind, we are running our biggest summer programme ever.

We shall be providing 14 ‘Holiday and Adventure Camps’ running throughout the school summer holidays. All Holiday Camps will be focusing on ‘Soccer & Multi-Sport’ activities with an Olympic theme. Many camps, which run daily from 9.30 until 3.30pm, will be held at various schools across the High Peak. Our Glossop venue will be St. Margaret’s Primary School, Gamesley, Glossop, where facilities include a large playing field, a good size playground and an indoor sports hall, should the weather continue to disappoint. Other locations include Chapel, Buxton and Disley and all have similar facilities.

For the more adventurous child, we are offering two Adventure Camps, one of which is a 5 day residential camp being held at Shining Cliff Woods, Matlock.  This will be a fantastic experience for boys and girls aged between 8 to 16. However, places are limited for this camp and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Our non-residential Adventure Camp runs on a daily basis from 9.00am until 5.00pm and offers various activities through the week.
